Who are we.
Your hostess and host are Frédérique Waakop Reijers and Bert van Dop. They bought the house 'de Eiken' in 1993 to realize their dream: outdoor living and enjoyment for an affordable price.
After 4 years of renovation, the family came to live in "the lake" and since then a lot has changed around the house.
Why a B&B
We have found a lovely spot in a part of Drenthe that is not well known to the general public. The landscape is not spectacular at first sight, but if you delve into the origin of its location and layout, it is special. Want to see more? Within half an hour's drive you can enjoy all the beauty that Drenthe has to offer.
