't Eikeltje: Cozy and rural like a B&B is intended.
To all former and current guests: after 12 years we will be washing the B&B sheets for the last time on 21 December 2026. The house has been sold and the new owners will be using the guesthouse 't Eikeltje in a different way. We thank our guests and colleagues for a wonderful time, where we had the pleasure of offering our guests a comfortable bed and a good breakfast as a base for exploring our beautiful (southwest) Drenthe.

A Bed&Breakfast in the middle of the countryside in the rural area of Hoogeveen. Where relaxing and enjoying the countryside is at the top of our list. You can use our family terrace.
The guesthouse is NOT a holiday home with its own terrace, nor is it a hotel with facilities such as TV or hairdryer, but it is an original B&B with a freshly made bed, an extensive breakfast and a warm welcome.
We like a personal welcome so an estimated time of arrival is appreciated. Inside is a description of the space, the light points and useful titbits. If you have any questions, we are (almost) always nearby to help you on your way. There is a bell outside so you don't have to look for us.
Our guesthouse has its own entrance and sanitary facilities.
Breakfast is brought to the guesthouse.
Cutlery is available in the guesthouse to use when having a takeaway or delivery meal.
There is a small microwave (20L) to heat meals and a small fridge for cooling drinks etc.
In Drenthe there are plenty of opportunities for walking, cycling and mountain biking. There is also the possibility to play The Nature Game Drenthe at Spier/Van der Valk!
